Tomatoes: 2, pureed

Garlic & ginger paste: 1 tbsp

Green chilies: 2, slit (optional)

Yogurt or coconut milk: ½ cup

Spices: turmeric (½ tsp), red chili powder (1 tsp), cumin (1 tsp), coriander powder (1 tsp), garam masala (1 tsp)

Fresh cilantro: For garnish

Cooking oil: 2 tbsp

Method:

Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
